Marcusson joined the Navy 40 years ago. His main focus has been service in surface warfare; Anti Air Artillery and EW protection systems. Marcusson has taught in the Naval Warfare Schools and he participated in the sea acceptance tests of the new Air Defence System in SESYM for the Swedish corvettes. After further education at the Swedish National Defence College and the Swedish Defence Research Agency (FOI) he is now head of EW in the Armed Forces Headquarters at the Joint Combat Support in The Defence Staff.
