Dr. David Wittmann is an Electronic Warfare, Avionics and Mission System expert, working within Airbus since 2008. He began within the field of cockpit systems, moving in 2012 towards the field of Avionics and Mission System with a particular focus on EW.  

Appointed Chief Engineer for EW since 2021 within the European FCAS (Future Combat Air System) project with focus on System-of-Systems, he has an excellent knowledge about state-of-the-art for EW-SoS and the coordination in the EMS, a novel electromagnetic battle management for future combat systems and the need for effective spectrum management to support multi-domain operations.
