Conference passes are free for speakers, however registration is mandatory for attendance. Please register using this link:

Please fill out the form with your personal information, uploading required ID documents. Select the AOC Conference days you wish to attend; conference and catering are all free for speakers. The networking event on 16th May is NOT free for speakers (only for serving Military personnel), but can be bought for an additional charge.

If you wish to attend the PLATH Intelligence Workshop on 15th May, this is also free for speakers, just select when prompted. 

 

On Site

Upon arrival at the venue, please go to the Speakers’ registration desk with your registration email confirmation and valid photo ID.

All speakers must be in the room 30 minutes before they are due on stage. This gives us time to properly set up the microphones for you, ensure we have the correct slides, and introduce you to the moderator. If you are unable to do so, please let us know in advance.

AOC 2023 will take place at World Conference Centre, Bonn in Germany.

Legal Restrictions

Legal Restrictions

Speakers should be aware that there are some topics which are subject to licensing restrictions. In the case of Category A goods, a valid Standard Individual Trade Control Licence (SITCL) must be obtained from the Export Control Joint Unit by the Speaker prior to the event.

This restriction applies to all forms of promotion, including conference content, the distribution of brochures or other promotional material which features images or details of any Category A goods.

Please send your slides to the speaker management team no later than 28th April 2023. 

IMPORTANT: The theatre screens are 16:9. Please prepare your slides in this format. 

There is not a standard AOC slide template; you are welcome to use your corporate template if you wish.

If your presentation includes video content, please submit the video as a separate file to the presentation slides.

If you have an updated version of your slides on the day, please bring them on a USB. Similarly, if you wish to make a different version of your slides available to delegates after the event, please send us the new version by no later than 19th May 2023.

Media

Media

There will be media in the conference room, and as standard we do not operate under the Chatham House Rule. 

If you wish your session to be off record, you will need to announce that as you take the podium. All media have been instructed that the Chatham House Rule will come into effect for that presentation only if the speaker requests it.
