It is with much sadness that we must inform the AOC Europe community that the AOC’s UK Chapter President, Wing Commander John Clifford OBE, passed away on Tuesday 5 May 2020.
As many of you will know, John was UK Chapter President for many years but was also a stalwart in the EW community, both in the UK and globally, for well over 40 years both in his RAF service and in the years since his extensive and impressive military career.
His achievements are truly endless and to even attempt to make a deserving tribute here would simply not do him justice. To that end, a proper and deserving tribute will be forthcoming in due course.
Rest in Peace John and Thank You Sir.
