Event update: AOC Europe 2021

The 2021 edition of AOC Europe will now take place on 11-13 October in Liverpool, UK.

The event was previously set to take place in Seville on 25-27 May. We are delighted to confirm a return to Liverpool, our intended host in 2020, and are confident the new timeline will allow us to welcome international attendees to the show. All exhibitor bookings will be valid for the rescheduled dates.

Across three days, AOC Europe will connect organisations and individuals from government, defence, industry, and academia to promote the exchange of information and review the latest advances in electromagnetic and information-related fields.

Ahead of the live event, we are also launching the first AOC Europe Online Summit on Tuesday 18 May. Exploring a range of relevant topics, the digital agenda will feature industry-leading speakers across a number of interactive session formats.

Why is the event name changing?

Our updated identity – AOC Europe – reflects the event’s coverage of the entire electromagnetic and information-related spectrum.

With a history spanning almost six decades, Association of Old Crows (AOC) is synonymous with this industry community and hosts the successful Annual AOC International Symposium and Convention in Washington, DC.

As such, it was a logical decision to place AOC at the heart of our European branding as we continue to serve EW stakeholders across the continent and further afield.

How are we responding to Covid-19?

As one of the largest exhibition organisers in the world, we hold the safety of all event attendees as our highest priority. As such, we have been contributing to broader government and industry initiatives to support the return of live industry events.

In response to the global pandemic, we are implementing a robust programme of enhanced safety measures to reduce the risks associated with Covid-19. Click the button below for more information on how we are making our events safe in this new era.

Why Liverpool?

Exhibition Centre Liverpool was due to host AOC Europe in 2020, before Covid-19 caused the event to be postponed. While the venue could not accommodate our original 2021 timeline in May, we are now able to revert to our preferred host city.

The event has been hosted regularly in the United Kingdom, most recently in 2017 (London) and 2014 (Edinburgh). Previous editions have proved a resounding success with exhibitors and attendees alike, and we look forward to building upon this in October 2021.

What is the AOC Europe Online Summit?

Online SummitIn light of the disruption caused by Covid-19, Clarion Events and AOC have been exploring digital opportunities to enable our event community to convene virtually and catch up on recent developments.

We are pleased to confirm that ahead of re-uniting in person later this year, we are running an Online Summit which will explore key themes across Electronic Warfare (EW), Electromagnetic Spectrum Management Operations, Cyber Electromagnetic Activities (CEMA), Information Operations (IO), and other information-related capabilities.

This free-to-attend digital session, scheduled for Tuesday 18 May 2021, will set the scene for topics to be explored further at the exhibition and conference in October. Further information will be available shortly.
